Copying and Pasting an Area
You can copy the contents of a selected area for pasting into the same picture, another picture or another program. BME stores cut and copied picture areas in the system clipboard. When an area has been copied to the clipboard from BME or when a picture has been copied to the clipboard from another program supporting the system clipboard, it can be pasted into a picture in BME with the ''Paste'' command.
- The ''Copy'' command from the ''Edit'' menu copies the selected area to the clipboard.
- The ''Cut'' command from the ''Edit'' menu is similar to ''Copy'', but also removes the are from the picture.
- The ''Paste'' command from the ''Edit'' menu pastes the contents of the clipboard into the picture as an area which can be moved to the desired position.
You can also use the toolbar buttons to do these clipboard operations.
