Applying Styles
After you create a style, you can apply it to selected text. You can also place the insertion point and choose a style to type text in that style. There are three ways to select a style to apply or use:
- Select a style from the ''Paragraph Style'' or ''Character Style'' submenus in the ''Type'' menu.
- Choose ''Show Style Palette'' from the ''Window'' menu to display the ''Style Palette''. Click the ''Paragraph'' or ''Character'' buttons to toggle between the type of styles listed. Click on the style to apply.
- Click the ''Paragraph'' or ''Character'' view buttons in the ''Edit Palette'' and then select a style from the appropriate ''Style'' pop-up menu.
