Path Functions
Unlike other publishing applications, most drawings and illustrations can be created right inside PageStream.
To reverse the drawn direction of a path: Select a path using the ''Object'' or ''Reshape'' tool. Choose ''Reverse'' from the ''Path'' submenu in the ''Object'' menu.
To flatten any curves into line segments: Select a path using the ''Object'' or ''Reshape'' tool. Choose ''Flatten'' from the ''Path'' submenu in the ''Object'' menu.
To smooth short line segments into similar curves: Select a path using the ''Object'' or ''Reshape'' tool. Choose ''Smooth'' from the ''Path'' submenu in the ''Object'' menu.
Path Math
To merge regions: Select two intersecting paths using the ''Object'' or ''Reshape'' tool. Choose ''Union'' from the ''Path'' submenu in the ''Object'' menu.
To remove dissimilar regions: Select two intersecting paths using the ''Object'' or ''Reshape'' tool. Choose ''And'' from the ''Path'' submenu in the ''Object'' menu.
To remove common regions: Select two intersecting paths using the ''Object'' or ''Reshape'' tool. Choose ''Exclusive'' from the ''Path'' submenu in the ''Object'' menu.
To remove second region from the first: Select two intersecting paths using the ''Object'' or ''Reshape'' tool. Choose ''Subtract'' from the ''Path'' submenu in the ''Object'' menu.
