You can't copy and paste values from/into the edit palette as you can under Amiga Pagestream 4.1.5.6. In contrast, under Amiga Pagestream you can select and copy values from one input box on the edit palette, then in another input box enter a math operator and paste the copied values behind the operator, press enter and voila the new value has been calculated.

But under Mac PGS 5.0.5.8 such a copy operation results in a duplicated object with an offset.

Example: draw a rectangle with x position of 1.5" and width of 2.5". Highlight and copy the 2.5" width value, and in the x position input box type "+(" (without quotes) then paste your 2.5" value behind that, because you are intending to finish it off with "/3)" (without quotes) so that the resulting x-position equation/calculation will be 1.5"+(2.5"/3) so as to shift the object's x position by 1/3 the width of the object. Instead, on pasting the 2.5" value the object will be duplicated with new x and y coordinates.
